old dirt, it was pure luck that I got those pictures. As you say, it is hard to get good ones and I often tried. But it seemed to be exactly the time of day where the angle of sunlight was perfect to let them glow.

What a fun gallery. That was a great idea to take pictures of all your red-legged wonders. You take such nice photos. The lighting is just perfect. If I had to choose one as a favorite, it would be that Flemish Beauty. I usually go for hostas that are more than one color, but that green is delicious.
