I would put artwork on it.

What room is this? Gallery wall? Photos? Bookshelves?

I picture this wall with some kind of long chest with a few, carefully selected items and an art gallery of pictures. Don't choose prints. Go to ebay and look at their Russian oil paintings. They have some very nice landscapes and still lifes. Or you can go modern; it all depends on what you like. On ebay you can select pictures that are put up for sale by the artists themselves and they are often quite reasonable, and it helps the artists, who don't have to go through a middle man.

The large circa 1900 French landscape in oil and the picture of the dog, also in oil, are both from e-bay. The latter cost only $18.00 without the frame and was bought from the artist.
