End of bed ottoman color issues

we purchased our bed for a great price but the color is difficult to decorate with. It was listed as beige but is more of a taupe. I want to get an affordable end of bed ottoman that is the length of the bed. I found one within budget but the problem is the colors it comes in. even if budget was endless i am not sure what color ottoman to go with. The store we purchased the bed from does not have a matching one. Would a 75 inch black ottoman be too much at the end of this bed?

I don't think I'd add black. Seems too harsh with your softer, lighter colors. Tell us your budget and the style you want and we can help you shop!

I agree with Olychick about black. The world market bench is pretty. Does it come in other colors?

Nothing needs to match, it just needs to play nicely with everyone else. I love Olychick's suggestion.

You can always buy an extra piece of your bedding and cover the ottoman to match.

Our budget is $250 we are hoping for storage. The one I found is $151 and is 75 inches long. The colors arent great though. Would anyone put two ottomans next to eachother to make it the length of a king size?

Would not do black. Olychick's example would be lovely. If you must have storage...these are within budget, but I think only the first one is about 50" long.
