Need help picking backsplash tiles for kitchen

Need advise on tile that will look good with my kitchen. I'm thinking a grey glass tile. Color picks up from the grey marble effect of counter top. First idea was subway tile. Something not to small or busy to the eye. photo attached shows 2 tiles I like. Please send me feedback.

The pale blue paint that is there now looks lovely to me. The dark hardware is great too- but adding a gray backsplash seems like gray overload.

Can we get a picture from further away, also - it's important to see the tiles in the context of the whole room, including flooring. From just this picture, I can't tell if the smaller tiles would appear too busy or not.

they are really very grey. the backsplash is your last chance to do something other than the black/grey/white scheme. choose wisely, grasshopper!

Are your cabinets as creamy as the color appears on my computer screen? If so, I'd stay away from gray.

Your upper cabinets almost seem yellow, so I'm hesitant to give the go ahead for grey. First, if you have any yellow light bulbs swap them out for something cooler. Then I suggest you look at a lighter grey (those are too dark) but a light blue glass tile would be really pretty too.

Can you share a picture of the kitchen from farther back? That might help get a better sense of the overall color in your space.

I like the gray. (But then I like the white / gray look.) I'd be curious to see a lighter gray tile up there too.

Another option might be a blue tile. I see your paint looks blue so I'm guessing you like the color.

Hello,

I think Sina is right, the top cabinets look yellow but the bottom look more white. I think it might be the light bulbs. These LEDs can take on a yellow hue if you don't find the right blue option.

And a dark tile can sometimes transform a kitchen. Here is an image of dark BS.

I think these black counters make the dark BS stand out. Your counters are lighter so I think maybe a lighter bs might be a little prettier. Check out the images below. They have a hint of gray that you might be able to add.

NOtice the dark gray bottom cabs really help to ground the space. If you use dark gray in the middle as your BS it is going to close in the space rather than open it up.
