Foyer space help

How can I brighten up this foyer space? amni Supposed to put pillows on the bench or maybe swap out the coat rack for something else?

    A mirror would brighten that space and who doesn't like to check their makeup before leaving the house. You could also hang a floral wreath on the door, either the backside of the entry door or on the white door.
