Problems with our indoor azalea tree

last modified: 8 years ago

Hi all,

we recently go an azalea tree and we keep it our apartment.

We originally repotted it from the pot it came in. We planted it in a larger and deeper pot and we keep it in the window. It gets direct sunlight in the morning, indirect sunlight for the rest of the day.

First 3 weeks it was doing great, including a pretty rich bloom.

But then week 4, all of the flowers died overnight, all at the same time. They fell off and those that didn't I picked off.

Now I noticed that the leaves are getting slowly yellow-ish, including the new leaves AND there is sap on some leaves (see the photos).

Does anyone have an idea what could be the problem?

Rado
