I have brown chairs, no rug yet. The livingroom is open to the kitchen. I have grey cabinet colour for kitchen. I have white and grey kitechen counter. I am confused when it comes to colour

I would look at some rugs and pick out a few you like to get started. Also you should probably pick out any major furniture pieces you plan to purchase like a sofa and coffee table before you pick paint colors. The only picture in your idea book is all browns and beiges, is that the look you want? Maybe you should look at some beige or tan rugs, patterned or plain and post them here if they appeal to you and we’ll see if they work with your chairs. The rug might be a good place to add some color, blue looks nice with brown. Can you post a picture of your chairs?
