As someone who has grown various outdoor plants indoors over the years, give as much light as you can and read up on what species likes for growing conditions.

I am keeping it as a house plant. It's doing fine so far. I have put it into a 6" pot and slowly introduced it to sun, increasing every few days. Now it's in full sun in late afternoon. It's very bright where it is. I've been watering it only when the top third of soil is dry. Thank you.
