Things are picking up

It looks like the trend is going to be more scapes and buds due to the amazing amount of rain. Same height or lack there of for most.

Prismatic. It is extra early this year, lovin' the rain. It has over ten well budded, well branched scapes. This may be even better than 2 years ago when it put on such a great show for a long time. A sun ray is hitting it from behind. Nice and tall.

Gadsden Goliath. Nearly as many scapes & some well budded, some average. Shorter than listed as usual.

Little Business. Blooms in a not very sunny spot where nothing else will.

Belle Isle Sentry again. The lighting was perfect for a perfect shot, sowing the various details of coloring. 2 photos with 2 different camera settings. The top one is the best for the main color. Not much of an edge color showing today.

Thanks for looking.

Prismatic is looking good and should make for a stunning clump this season. Belle Isle Sentry is a pretty one. It's interesting how the look varies from one camera to another.

Isn't it fun to go out in the morning and find blooms. Someone said on here several years ago, it's just like Christmas morning.

I am looking forward to seeing more of Prismatic, it should be beautiful in a clump. The first year I had Gadsden Giant it was really tall. I moved it to the back since it was blocking some shorter ones. It has not been that tall since. I have to say, my daylilies tend to be very consistent. The ones that are supposed to be tall are consistently short, the ones that claim to be short are not, at least not ad short as the are supposed to be.
