My roses have started to come out.

This one is an old once blooming climber. Probably Dr. Huey. It got caught in a microburst a few days ago so doesn't look as nice now because it got tangled in itself and pulled away from the wall.

This was new last year. Sally Holmes. I LOVE this rose. But only this one looks this great. One died and another is much smaller. This rose is much prettier in person. It sort of flows down and trails along the ground. It is supposed to get very big so I'm looking forward to that.

I like nice sight lines through the yard.

Very pleased with this $12 Iceberg from O-Tools. It isn't much bigger this year but it has a good number of flowers even with being in the shade most of the day.

The yellow brooms are in full swing but at the tail end. They are starting to drop their flowers. It is OK because they have fabulous plant structures all year around, even in the winter. Love them because they are pretty much maintenance free. They grow on a single stalk and thus don't wander about on their own.

The Table Mountain ice plants on the shelf in the picture above have been going gangbusters. The longer purple ice plants below are just coming in. The peach color has done really well this year. First year it has filled in. The White Wheel of Wonder came back. I didn't think it would. And the red Rock Roses are still going strong.

Wide shot. The purple salvia is normally spectacular. This year they got really big and leggy then some collapsed outward. Probably because of our mild weather that they overgrew.

Not sure what this purple bush is in the foreground. I've got two of them. If anyone says "ah ha! that is a <blank>" Let me know.

That shasta daisy is a monster! I love it.

Gardenchloe, I love your containers! Do you water them by hand? I have largely failed at container gardening because they always dry out and stuff dies.

I have a couple of drippers which I used in the past couple of years but I pretty much water by hand all the time now as I get to observe how the flowers grow. This year I am hooked on to different types of petunias. I bought a bunch of supertunias and wave petunias. Both petunias are know as vigorous growers. I am glad I get to observe them for the whole season.

So many wonderful blooming flowers and arrangements!

Seeing all these blooming flowers, makes me know I have work to do to ensure full time blooming. My daylily area is about ready to open up...likely this weekend. The Russian sage is super close too. I have the Shasta Daisy that are blooming but the bug problem (other post) is dampening my excitement.

Gardencloe, what variety is the Shasta Daisy you have? I love the compactness of it and the height. The Becky and Alaska I have are a bit too tall in some of the locations I have them, and I'd like to add another shorter variety. Do you get a long bloom? Can you use them for cut flower arrangments?

I am not too sure of the variety of Shasta Daisy. I know Shasta Daisy May is a famous rebloomer but my blooms don't look like them. Mine does rebloom and appreciates deadheading. I bought it as a tiny baby from Lowe's one year. This is probably the fourth season.

Here is another picture of the daisies. I remember now the tag said white mountain Shasta daisies
