How's Asclepias incarnate doing this year?

I've noticed most of my Swamp milkweed is suffering this year. 60% or more have had the top of the plant shrivel up and die for no apparent reason. Looks like it could be frost damage, but occurred well after any cold weather events, and included plants in protected locations. I read on a different post that growgirl(z5MI) also lost her swamp milkweed this year. I just wonder if there's a widespread pattern.

BTW, collected the first monarch eggs of the year for me yesterday, off common (syriaca) milkweed.

Mine is doing extremely well this year. It’s the third year, so I guess they leap. We had a colder than normal winter, but the first Monarch eggs I saw were on March 30. Last year it was April 10.

My common milkweed has been a bit delayed, but my swamp milkweed is coming along beautifully. Both about to bloom--which is unusual to have at the same time for me, zone 5, Nebraska. Heidi

Thanks for the feedback. I took a tour around my pond, where I typically collect monarch eggs, and I have NO swamp milkweed this year. Normally it's the dominant milkweed in that area. I wonder if something is going on in Michigan. Swamp milkweed planted ~7 miles away last year is suffering the same "burnt tips".
