Too upright for Wide Brim. Makes me think of Carnival, but I'm not sure that's right either.

i read the description of unforgettable and it matches pretty well, size, leaf and flower type. Just funny how many different pictures there are online of the same plant. Some look just like mine and than others completely different

I know what you mean, Claudia. I think it boils down simply to growing conditions. Ever notice how tall (and sparse) some plants grow in shade with very little sun....trying to reach for it? On the other hand, too much sun can sometimes give a hosta a more elongated or distorted leaf shape and a shorter, lower-to-the-ground clump...not always, but occasionally.

This is a lovely hosta! We grow them in our front yard, well did until the deer ate them last spring. We had them there for many years without problems, though.

Same exact kind, with purple flowers that make a popping sound as you crush them.

Interesting......your plant looks like it has yellow margins. Albo=white marginata=margin, but if the margins are yellow then you have auero-marginata, aeuro=gold.
