I just noticed your post was never answered. This particular forum has very little activity. There is a better forum called The Garden Clinic that is for people having plant issues. You know, a lot of people have been having problems with New Guinea Impatiens this year. There is a new blight disease that is killing them all over the place. I bought 2 of those plants this year, and they both died. A lot of times plant venders will tell you all the pros about a plant and never mention the cons, because they want to make a sale. There are s lot of tougher, hardier plants that would do much better in your enviroment. Please don't give up gardening, it's in your blood, that's why you do it. There is also a container gardening forum on gardenweb. You could get a lot of useful info over there, since that's basically what your doing. Like I said before, the reason your post wasn't answered is because this forum isn't visited very often. The Coleus you have look healthy. In gardening, you need to be grateful for small successes, and calm when things go wrong, because it's all good, we learn from our mistakes and constantly evolve into better gardeners. Peace!
