My son has a Snapper 44” lawn tractor with a 14.5hp Briggs and Stratton and hydrostatic transmission. He is complaining the throttle lever doesn’t work—moves, but engine speed does not increase. I am assuming the cable is broken.
Any advice on removing the assembly? He wasn’t successful pushing the assembly housing up through the dash, saying the cables (throttle and choke) don’t have enough slack. I assume he has to disconnect the cables at the carburetor.
A search online for this lawn tractor didn’t show anything.
