Please don't tell anyone I bought two Queens of the Seas.

A very nice selection, I wish I had room left...I have Paisley Border and Pistache. My Tropical Dancer did not come back after winter:-(

I'd love to have Sultans of Swing and will add it to my 2019 list :-)

Did you buy QOTS twice inadvertendly or because you like it so much?

Two Queens was a mistake... It wasn't even on my list. I just saw it and liked it so much that I put it in my shopping cart immediately. When I passed the spot again, there was this hosta that looked so pretty...

My TD did come back after the winter but then died. I think it was crown rot. This new one I will plant into sterilized potting material.

Love Paisley Border it is gorgeous! Pistache and Alligator Shoes are both on my want list!

Not only might I have bought 2 Queen of the Seas, but at least the larger one looks like it could be divided, so I would probably have whacked it into smaller pieces and have 3 or 4. But leaving them as they are will give a lot more instant gratification. Paisley Border is indeed spectacular!

I ended up with two Satisfactions almost the same way as your two Queen of the Seas. Shhh, we're not supposed to tell anyone, lol.

Paisley Border is a sport of Paisley Print, in this case a classic reverse sport. I find that I prefer this one to Paisley Art, and it definitely passes the 10 foot rule--probably the 50 foot rule.

Love that Paisley Border. I was fortunate to attend Hosta World's Hosta days last weekend too, but unfortunately I could only bring pictures back. He has the best grown, large, healthy Hostas I've ever seen for sale at really nice prices.

Steve, you must be a master of self-control! You’re right about the prices, they’re quite low. The most expensive hosta I saw was 60€. I don’t know the name right now, but I’ve taken a picture and can look it up. I bought about 11 or 12 plants and paid 156,00€. Hosta Extreme was 26€.

Can we see your pictures? I took quite a few, but they’re on my camera and my laptop isn’t working at the moment, so I can only post pictures taken with the tablet.

I was there on Saturday morning, 11 o’clock maybe. Most customers were Germans, everybody was talking German and the parking lot was filled with white licence plates – the Dutch ones are yellow.

Afterwards I went to the Gardens of Appeltern.

I went Friday afternoon. I'm no master of self control. I had a little chat with Jan and everyone I talked to said it was unlikely to get through customs, so that made it easier. Although, I did feel a bit nauseous not buying anything. We just got back late Wednesday night and catching up on work, gardening and the fourth of six orders arrived with the last two coming today (so I have plenty of new Hostas). There were many there not available here yet, but perhaps next year I can find them. Probably smaller and more expensive, but cheaper than having them confiscated and destroyed. I'll post pictures a bit later.

I planted my 2 QOTS together in a big green pot and disguised it as one plant. Looks like I've had it for years.
