Diana, I think there are two ways: if you get an email, there's generally an unsubscribe from the conversation link there. If you're in the story, scroll all the way down past the comments and the unsubscribe link should be there.

Some do not have that option at the bottom now. I noticed that. For instance this page doesn’t have it.

I don't usually get an email regarding story notifications, and I don't see any "unsubscribe" for stories at the bottom after comments.

Oddly enough, Kathy, on my screen I do see the "Click to switch off notifications" icon.

Kathy, design dilemmas and other threads have it but not Houzz Stories. I've been irritated by that too. Going to try ninigret's work around and see if I can make that work.

Lindsey, I believe it. Things work randomly. I was looking to see why Using Houzz wasn’t in the Topics for Mayflowers and it is gone, but it was there the other day.

When toggling such things in advanced settings be sure to save changes at the very bottom and then restart - at least with Firefox and Windows 10 on a laptop.
