Thank you! Yes that would be a great option, what kind of stone or tile? Since I have the concrete gray polished floor, what would look good? Also, do I tile the entire wall behind vanity and the wall behind the toilet which is next to it? Or just behind the vanity?

Hi Marilyn. Is there a window in there? I would mirror wall behind vanity and commode to open up space and not use the mirror that comes with vanity. Sell and pocket the money for updating. There are many options of antiqued mirror colors to please. The other walls paint or wallpaper in colors to coordinate with flooring. See example below.

Jodie, I do not have a window. Would the dark blue color make the room look smaller?

A dark color is not off limits to a small space. More of an inspiration to think outside the box. What are the connecting spaces? Is this a powder room?

This is a half bath off the hall way, across is a linen closet I am putting mirror bifolds. The bath vanity has the toilet sitting next to it. this will be the main bathroom for guests. Here is a pic of the original bath. Warning...it is very outdated!!

Depends on the size of the wall as far as tiling the whole thing or just a section. If the wall is small - go for the whole thing - bigger impact. I would choose a lighter color tile/stone - or even a combo. There are some nice stone options with stainless steel or glass accents that would sparkle a little. Make sure the tile/stone has some of the greys/blues of the concrete so it's not in stark contrast.
