what is the difference between lighthouse height and maximum inside height. Ex given: 4' lighthouse has max inside height of 29" I don't understand

A 4 foot lighthouse measures approx. 48" from top of finial to base of lighthouse. Maximum inside height is the height of the cavity in the bottom of the lighthouse. These lighthouses have a cavity in the bottom so you can slip them over a well casing or other unsightly objects if you like.
