Are there any blooms on the plant you can show us ? Lowes likes to do this thing where they tag roses with a vaugue name and not tell you what you have bought . So we need to see blooms to I.d it . We do love to try though ! :)

I've heard that sometimes there is a tag at the base of the rose around the cane with the real name when the rose has the wrong commerce tag. You could check for that. Perhaps this is an unregistered rose. It looks pretty. I wonder if it will have a scent?

It had one flower so far but after the heavy rain, I lost it. Yes, it does smell good. I’m not familiar with roses so I have nothing to compare the scent to. They have the same kind in purple, red and pink. They all smell good. I purchased a dozen of them but now I’m not sure what I’m working with

Is there a sticker on the pot? Sometimes the bar code sticker has the rose name too.

I was at Lowe's Saturday and they had just gotten a truckload of plants in. One multidecker cart of roses was still shrink wrapped. All the rows had Knockout printed on the pots except the one row that was blooming pink. The pots were unmarked but the tag said 'pink rose'. So did the shipping label taped on the shrink wrap around the cart. No other ID so impossible to know what they were. Someone mentioned that they order these for landscapers who don't care what the actual rose name is they just have a note on their diagrams that say 'red rose' or 'pink rose' so they buy anything to fill the order.
