Hi there -3rd attempt to post - and nothing is happening so now I'm keeping this short!
Brought home my 4' fiddle in May from a nursery that specializes in tropicals. I noticed it had a leaf that was slightly browning at the edges, but I see now I have at least 3 additional leaves with browning. I am concerned about over watering. The browning starts at the edges, and is appearing to move inward.

1) The top inch or so of the soil is dry, but under that feels fairly damp. Its been 7 days since I last watered. Should I keep waiting to water? Ive also been misting it fairly regularly.

2) I kept it in the same pot I brought it home it. It has adequate drainage, and I water it fully, from the top, until the water runs out of the drainage holes. Then I allow it to sit in the sink before putting it back in its decorate basket so as not to allow it to sit it water. Is it too much water?

3) What kind of fertilizer should I be using? I've heard that 3:1:2 is the best but I can't find it in Canada.

4) I have been following Al (Tapla's) threads regarding pruning the roots and repotting in good soil. Should I be doing this, or have I missed my chance for this growing season as its now June, and I live in Vancouver, so it doesn't get overly sunny/hot here. Also, it has not pushed out any new leaves, and it doesn't look like its even getting ready to! :(

5) It has not yet dropped any leaves, but I am worried. How can I save this plant?
