I'm getting started on finishing a basement that will be a good size living area.
Initially I wanted to put in a freestanding wood burning unit and now I'm having second thoughts.
Reasons I initially wanted this, ambiance, heat, and heat in emergencies.

Here are my options any opinions or advice would be appreciated.
1) freestanding wood burning
2) freestanding gas
3) freestanding pellet
