Wonderful pictures! I bought a lot of hosta from Jan. He always sends very good plants. The extra table must have been from Danny van Eechaute, he also sells his hosta in Barneveld on those special days.

I got Iron Sky this spring, an interesting hosta with the thickest leaves I've seen so far.

Must have been hard to be in hosta wonderland and to know you couldn't take one home :-(

Oh, all those hostas and not being able to buy any! Love Champagne Frost. Wonder how it grows with all that white, but what a striking color combination. Glad you shared the photos.

My Amalia is type A, too.

Some close ups from streaky corner. Jan mentioned he had a lot more, but there were 25 people in line when he opened who stormed and decimated the streaky table, lol. There were quite a few yellow signs laying around with no plants but there were still more than I'd ever seen before.

Simply Sharon is a stunning hosta, but so slow. The ones at the sale are the biggest I've seen.

Mine is three years old, and finally has four leaves- but not as big as the ones in your picture. It's spending the summer in a pot, getting daily watering and slow release fertilizer. I don't feel too bad, though. The place I bought it lost a lot of theirs.

As for Bullfrog, for sure. I wonder if they did TC? Last I heard it was not doing well with TC and that was few years ago...

No, it wasn't red. It was an overcast, rainy day with the sun peaking out at times underneath white umbrellas. I think it just caught reflection off the ground.
