Hibiscuses Carolina Gardening Garden

Hibiscus Problem

My very large Rose of Sharon has not leafed out at all this year. My smaller one has already started blooming. The branches are still supple, and show some green when scraped. Is there anything I can do to help it along? I'm in zone 7b, central NC. Thanks!

Maybe it died, it should have leafed out a while ago.

Try doing a scratch test on some of the branches, if you scratch off the bark on some of the branches and theres no green underneath any of them it's dead.
