How to make a Turkisk bath?

Hello, because my daughter left to live alone, I used her room to redo a beautiful bathroom with bath and Turkish bath to relax a little. The bathroom is in marble, color cappuccino. The Turkish bath / shower I had the mosaics, but I do not like it at all.

I want to do it again, can you give me some advice? I think marble absorbs too much. Sandstone goes well on the walls, but it is not the same on the floor and on the bench, or just in these three points I leave the mosaic that already exists. The painter offered me a painting covered with a transparent resin, what do you think? It's dangerous for your health? Tell me, if you know of another resin that is not dangerous at high temperatures. And after deciding the materials, what color do I do it? A lighter or darker color than the bathroom or a totally different color? Do I have to respect the color of the bathroom or do I have to consider the Turkish bath as a separate room? Thank you for your help.

I enclose the pictures of the bathroom, the measurements, the mosaics I do not like, and the Carrara marble sandstone tiles
