tongue and groove ceiling color

is the color a certain type of wood, or is it a wash or stain. if color/stain can you tell me what it is. i love that in the picture it looks very neutral.

    Hi Clarissa, the color is a wash made by diluting the wall color paint with water. The wood is pine.

    so the color is allot of the pine color subdued by the watered down wall color. the wall color is an off white-ish color it seems. I like the nuetral color of the ceiling.
