I've read in several places that people have stained Brazilian cherry wood floors successfully. but I've been told by pros that it's next to impossible. I'm OK with the floors I have, but they cover much of the space on the ground floor of my home. Please share if you've been able to do this. I'll definitely be using professionals, but would like to know if it works. ideally I want a darker walnut look, but seems ebony finish works well.
