Recourse for warped cabinet door after maker ceases operations!

I just learned that our cabinet maker, Legacy, went out of business in June. Our Legacy cabinets were installed late May 2026. Immediately we noted one of the upper doors is warped. GC said lets wait and see how it looks in a few weeks. On every punch list, we noted the door was still warped and indicated action was needed. We met yesterday with GC and he said he would investigate. Today.... surprise!...we learned Legacy Cabinets closed in June! If we had acted right away, perhaps we could have secured a replacement. Do we have any recourse at this point? It would be under warranty, if the business was still operating.

Those of you who are deeply involved in kitchen remodeling industry may have heard about Legacy, but as mere customers we did not. To any former employees of Legacy who happen to read this--I'm sorry for you, too, it sounds like they gave zero notice. So wrong. Well I can't resist writing "nice legacy, Legacy."
