I have these growing all around my property. For me, they are the most bullet proof orchid. Several years ago they survived temps in the high 20's and take full western sun as high as 100. With care they will bloom a lot. They will not bloom unless you give them the opportunity to climb. They will go 30' plus up a tree. Cut off the tops and add it to the base or another tree.
