Here are a few pictures of some Neoregelias from my collection. I live on the south east coast of Australia in a temperate climate where this genus seems to do quite well.

Hi everyone - Here's a few pictures of some more of my new hybrid Neoregelias; I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Nev, those are looking mighty good for start of winter! WOW! I love them all, but I am particularly partial to pinks and purples. Your 'Purple Star' is phenomenal. And your photography is perfect, too. Thanks for some fun!! You inspire me to head out with my camera today.

Here's one from my front yard - never knew the name of it. We bought it at the L.A. Arboretum at one of their sales:
The main plant is in the back yard, and this one multiplied fairly quickly, which is why we had to move parts of it to the front yard. We're running out of space in the back.

That's a nice looking plant Lars, and seems to like the spot you've chosen for it in the garden. I especially like the attractive pink blushing in the centre of the plant on the right.

As much as I would like to, unfortunately I can't grow any of my nicer brom's in the garden as the winds chop them to pieces and the summer sun usually causes burning as well.

Is that plant of yours getting high or low light?

The front yard is north facing, and so it is somewhat protected from full sun, and the plant is fairly close to the house. It's getting medium light, I would say, and it does have a bit of direct sunlight, but only briefly. Wind is not an issue either.
