Hard Loft Dining Room

Moving into a hard loft with 13' ceilings and hardwood floor. What type/style of dining room table should I go with? I personally like the style of industrial/wood, but I'm concerned that it will be too busy. My girlfriend also thinks I should go with a lighter table, to add contrast. Need some design advice

Well now that I've learned that there are hard lofts and soft lofts, I would say you should look through lots of photos of lofts that are similar to your space. Save the ones you love with notes about why you love them; save the ones you hate with notes about what turns you off.

There are so many different directions you can take with a cool space like this, but it should reflect you and your preferences.
