Agree with Nancy -- that is one gorgeous green hahnii. I have one hahnii only right now, one of those they call "Jade" that are solid green and I'm very fond of it -- but yours is a prettier green, I admit. I would treasure that one, if it were mine. I'm envious!

I do quite love it. The new shoot looks so much healthier than the main plant. It always seems to struggle, while the rest of my sans are busy growing like crazy.

Very nice!! It does look a little like hahni 'Gilt Edge' or hahni 'Marginated' but time will tell. Certainly fun! It probably will be a stronger grower than golden hahni since it has much more chlorophyll.

So, I only have a few different sans, but they all produce shoots that are identical. Will all shoots from golden hahni be green, or will there be any that look like the parent?

Amynoacids, at the risk of appearing presumptuous may I suggest that some Sansevieria have juvenile forms that are quite different from the parent plant but will eventually look like the parent plant.

albert that is true but usually more in form than color. A perfect example is some of the ones with stiff upright leaves, where the juvenile leaves are often more in rosette form. In this case 'Golden hahnii' pups usually come out looking exactly like the parent. Variegates are kind of funny though, and sometimes throw "sports". The fact that this pup is so different shows some sporting and makes it extra fun. I no longer grow 'Golden hahni' as it is a pain for me in my conditions, but that pup of yours should be much stronger.

I have S. t. 'Golden Hahnii' for 2.5 years and until now produced only the young, which has a mother plant, and young plants is quite a lot. Only this year for the first time a green rose has grown up, just like you :)

I never heard of any pup producing juvenile leaves. They are produced from seedlings and leaf cuttings. Also many regular plants produce a very yellow sport that in all purposes will be called 'Gold Hahnii' since it looks exactly like it. Once established they usually revert back to the basic plant they came from . Examples of this is Hahnii Streaker and Hahnii Siebert. I know I'm sounding like an expert and this is just my best guess. And it does make sense, I think?

I think this is correct. Upon reflection I believe I probably knew that and had just forgotten.
