Is it adhesive backed or static

I thought that peel and stick meant it is adhesive backed but when i ordered some it says static on it. Wondering which it is and has anyone had any luck getting it to stick in a sunroom where there are dramatic temp changes. Last static type that i bought immediately fell off. Thanks
