Your overthinking and obsessing on an irrelevant detail. There are plenty of other details you should be focusing on here. That ain’t one.

If you absolutely can’t deal with that in 6 months time, then scotchbrite the stainless carefully and dull it down. It is not a high gloss now, and you will run the risk of damaging your walls unless you are very very careful.

Your designer could have chosen a matte ivory that matched the tiles on the front end. It only comes in about 25 colors. But you’re not successfully painting that in a wet area without a lot of specialty metal primers, etc. It will just peel off if you slap housepaint on it. The factory ones are anodized or powder coated.

And get that totally against code big safety hazard of a light fixture over the tub out of there. Do you want to electrocute yourself?

Where is your required access panel for your tub plumbing and the pump? That’s an outside wall. And that’s a stone slab.

Where did you find these “Pros”. Who did the designing here? Or was this all DIY.

Have you identified which light source is doing it? Maybe you can change that.

If it really does drive you bonkers, you could get some really skinny (1/4"?) quarter round molding, paint it wall color or trim color, and lightly tack it up there, resting on the metal strip. It shouldn't be getting wet up there.

Except for the missing paint :) it looks very nice. The wall color is just perfect.

I thought it might be because there are two other windows whose shutters haven't been put back in yet until I noticed the same issue on some trim near the floor below these windows.
