I have this growing in my grass lawn, mostly in the shady portion. It hugs the ground and is sort of like a vine. In a search of the Internet, it looks similar to, but not exactly like dichondra. It seems to be missing that little pinched in place on the leaf where the stem connects.

It is too backbreaking to pull it out by hand. The weed killer I tried (Ortho Weed B Gone Max) has not killed it so far, and I have tried multiple applications. Actually, the weed killer says not to use it on dichondra. I think they mean if you are using dichondra as your lawn. But that would seem to indicate that it would be killed by the weed killer.
