I was told once not to use it on plumeria so it may not be good to use on adeniums but I don't know I think I would call the co.who made it should have a phone# on the bottle somewhere and ask for help I know it works on tree in the yard

I'd try it on one plant at 1/4 or 1/2 of the MSR. only on one plant you don't care if you lose. I would also keep it out of direct sun for awhile. And report back.

I've used this, it's fine for the plant. Use as directed. BUT it's imidacloprid, so keep your blooming plants out of open space where bees and other pollinators can get at them. It persists in the soil for up to a year so, know that your plant has to be inside screened areas for that entire duration, or you'll be poisoning pollinators too. I can not stress this enough---it is highly toxic to pollinators.

If you are putting it on plants that will not be blooming (which is what I did---prune every time I saw buds), then no worries.

P.S. most aphid species have deals going on with ants. Look for ants, too! And keep the plant out of ant reach.
