I would have liked to have seen it furnished. I suppose it must look better empty.

I know that terrazzo is not inexpensive but imo it doesn't really work in the great room.

Two double wall ovens!

I think I'd take out the corner oven and have more counterspace.

I love it. Think the pendant light in the front hall is original?

I do like this house - would change the ceiling in the kitchen. The brown double ovens appear to be on a wall that ends at an acute angle, and so I cannot see how they would function. I would replace them with a refrigerator and keep the corner ovens, even though they are narrow. A better place for a refrigerator would be where the corner ovens are, however.

I especially like the interior planter - it reminds me of Bachelor Father.

There's something weird about that fireplace surround. Love the size of the rooms!

What are these louvered things? Flip up covered shelves?

Maybe they’re drawers?

It reminds me of a rec center in that 2nd picture above, and I want to roller skate in there. I don’t get it.

Lots of distorted camera work. I like the house, tho. Reminds me fo a couple of houses my father built for us in the 50's and 60's.

I wouldn't want to buy it because I like my 1800's farmhouse style but that home is immaculate and well kept which says a lot...and you could make it super kitch

That house just keeps going and going and going. I love it, but I can't the analysis paralysis that would ensue as I tried to furnish it. I have a group of girlfriends - there are four of us - who hope to age together as much as possible. This would be a terrific Golden Girls home for us once all the men are gone!

Love it! I love terrazzo too = )

I can't, however, be the only one seeing swastikas in the metalwork?

I didn't actually see swastikas until you mentioned it. I guess I focused on the negative space.

I still don't see them, but then I'm often accused of seeing only goodness and light lol!

The bathroom drawer fronts are angled so you can pull them without needing knobs.

Is that a trashmasher? Cool. And is there a second dishwasher to the left? Two sets of ovens, too. Perhaps it was made into a kosher kitchen? (Now THAT should change the perception of the metalwork.)
