Look for left over or close outs for the flooring at the hardware store, as to the countertop same thing, sometimes they have odds and ends....

You can do a pre-fab countertop material.

Great paint choice! The nickel hardware looks much better on the darker color.

Because it's a kid's vanity & looking for affordable options, corian & formica would be a good option. Get rounded edges. They last longer.

You'll probably need a taller backsplash, because the tile countertop is thicker/taller than average based off the photo.

Definitely need to heavily protect your nice paint job from top to bottom during take out & install.

“Before “ had one sink, “After” has 2 sinks??

The first photo shows a single-sink counter on a drawers-over-doors vanity.
After having the vanity "painted", you miraculously have a double-sink counter over a doors-drawers-doors vanity?

Are you spoofing us, or are these the completed job photos?

Tile is a different color as well. And the flooring is different. Something is definitely "off" here................................

You can check out a stone fabricator for off-cuts - it makes choosing quartz countertops affordable, and quartz will stand up to your kid's bathroom use very well. Once you've selected the countertop, choose large format (24" x 24" or 12" x 24") tile flooring that coordinates with the countertop. There are many manufacturers who make really good imitations of natural stone. Finally, choose two white porcelain oval sinks and transitional faucets - I like the Delta Cassidy line to go with your vanity hardware.

I am a huge fan of corian/swanstone/solid surface, and I also love the idea of luxury vinyl tile or plank. Good luck with your choices!

I'm just really curious too about the obvious differences between the vanities, sinks, etc. Perhaps the new and improved photos were of an inspiration room?

Hey all sorry the angle of the picture is off but there has always been two sinks. The only thing I did was paint and add hardware to update the look.

Oh man just realized I posted pic of half bath upstairs let me find correct pic and update

And moved an outlet and changed the vanity layout and added a door? Not the same bathroom. Why the heck would someone make this up???

Anyway it looks like the linoleum goes up the vanity so you should have redone floor and counter before painting. Post your real bathroom if you want actual help.

Sorry guys i bought this house last year slowly making upgrades. The vanities in all of my bathrooms are similar and I accidentally posted the wrong pics for the before pic. Please don’t be so upset. My fault for being careless but thx u all for reviewing my post and responding. I use to live in a condo and never had to have any type of house projects before. I appreciate all the comments.

Sophath, that makes sense. Can you, as Bri Bosh suggested, post the correct photos and then re ask your questions?

I would consider laminate or granite over Corian or quartz. Kids can be careless and if someone leaves a hot curling iron or straightener on, you're going to end up with a burn mark with Corian or quartz.

What are the floors in the adjoining room?
