Hey guys, moving on to the next phase, would love your input on colour patterns and flooring selections. I want to accent the staircase in an elegant fashion. I'm always open to get fresh ideas, multiple minds are far better than 1! Send me your thoughts please!

What do you want help with? Curtains, drapery and upholstery? That would be textiles. Drywall what do you want help with on that? Is it paint colors vs. wallpaper or rounded vs. 90 degree corners or what? Not clear to me what you are asking at all.

What sort of fresh ideas about drywall are you looking for?

Just wondering a few things -- you have a Pro account, and your account info states

"We are a full services project management company. We coordinate renovation, remodeling and all design needs. We take the stress out of dealing with multiple contractors with multiple rates. We give you a one stop shop service. From staging, to renovating, we coordinate around your schedule, finding you the best available rate possible. Remodeling made easy!"

If you're full service and co-ordinate everything, why are you crowdsourcing on Houzz/GardenWeb? As a professional management company, do you not have everything planned and arranged already with your contractors? How does your scheduling with subs work when you source "fresh ideas" on the fly?

Also, do your clients, who likely pay you well for your "full services" know that they're getting free ideas from Houzz/GardenWeb forum members? I find it considerably less than professional that you're trying to source "fresh ideas" here for free for which you're then going to charge clients.

Hey Guys I like to gather input from the community, there are always new looks and trends out there. You are right I was very vague, I wanted to leave the conversation open for discussion. I have edited the post and narrowed down where I'm looking for input. I thought this would be a fun fresh idea to do with the community.

The second picture is my favorite, loving that bold banister and honey comb flooring! Excellent selection!

I'm a pro who is always looking to expand my knowledge by collaborating ideas. I have no problem admitting there is always room for growth. Houzz is an excellent platform to do this. Thank you in advance for all of your input!

Is this your house or a client's house? If it's a client's house, do they know you're crowd-sourcing ideas that they've entrusted to you?

Hello all, I Of course I would never post a client's project without consent. I wanted this to be a fun interaction with the community as keeping the community involved and interactive is important to me. I believe the idea of this has been lost. I'm sad to say I will not be posting any future projects of this nature.

So your client knows you are looking for help outside of your own capabilities??

Well someone got caught and is leaving in a huff. We’ll sure miss the opportunity of collaborating on future projects!
