Contact Mark Zilis, it's one of his. He still has a nursery in Illinois, not Q&Z any more, don't remember the new name and don't know if he sells only wholesale, but for a specialty hosta like this, he might be willing to sell you a piece or tell you who else might have some.

You could contact Uniquely Hostas. They bought out Jim's Hostas, which was the place I got hard to find hostas. I'm not sure about Uniquely Hostas, but Jim had things he didn't list in his catalog.

Uniquely Hostas doesn't list this one, but may well have it, most sellers have plenty of hostas they don't list, either due to lack of demand, or being held back to multiply.

Rob Canning probably has this one, he attends many of the conventions, and has over 3000 hostas.

Jill's suggestion of checking with the club that ran the convention is an excellent idea.

i suggested in another post.. unless a seller has a significant number of plants ... they simply dont list them ... but that doesnt mean they dont have a few hanging around in the shadows ...

I forgot all about Uniquely Hostas until I googled "Wisconsin hosta farms". Somehow I found it by entering it in their search box. Now the real question. As long as I'm having one shipped, how many others do I need to order to keep it company on the way? : )

ken, that's what I keep trying to tell the wife. She starts to get nervous whenever I get close to the tiller. I did manage to sneak home a Kiwi Spearmint that was on sale (in its summer clothes) that I've had my eye on since spring. I have 4 more picked out to come along with Cheesehead, but do you suppose I should make the shipment a half dozen? ; )

Marlene from Unique hostas has some rarely to be found hostas, they usually send single eye division, not big but well rooted, similar to what Jim sent in the past I think.
