I get this on my laptop Mary, but I can't remember how long it's been like it.

I can change the setting on the main Antique Roses Forum page, by choosing one of the two options under 'View' at the right side of the page. If I choose the two bar option I get what you are seeing, with the 2 lines of text and photo to the side. If I stick with the 3 bar option, which may be the default, then I don't get any of that. See if this works for you.

Thanks Marlorena. I do see the options on the main forum page. Don't know if they were there before and I just never noticed them. It would make sense that I hit the change without even noticing. But it seems all backwards. I first noticed the 2 text lines when I came out of a topic screen to the main forum. For a while (1 to 2 hours) there was just the text showing. Then all of sudden the pictures started showing. Hmmm.......

Rather than think I'm losing it, I think I'll go with 'Houzz is working on getting the various platforms to behave consistently and it was the Fire's turn'. But glad I'm not the only one or I really would think I was imagining things :-)

I'll have to check this out later. I work across multiple platforms IE Kindle iPad Android phone iMac PC laptop you name it! And they are all different! Some are quite old and I can't post from them but my phone is new and my recent first try went like a breeze. However I dislike the pull down menu on my phone. It's just one extra step and often takes me to the incorrect forum.
