It is a bi-level house. Not all homes have styles. It takes to modern very well. Definitely not modern farmhouse.

I don't think it is a bi-level as there is not a set of stairs/landing when you enter the home. You walk into the main level that has family, living, dining, and kitchen. There is a set of stairs that takes you up to the bedrooms and open loft area. I'm trying very hard to stick to the modern farmhouse theme when we move so I do not have to redecorate. What color would YOU paint this house? :)

fiskkirs, What you are thinking of is a raised ranch, aka split entry. That is a home that has stairs up and down as soon as you enter the home. A lot of people mix up the terms. You have a bi-level, aka split level, aka side split. The most common are bi-levels, tri-levels and quad levels. I happen to own a quad level.
