Yes, Viceroy. Note that viceroy has no white spots on or near the head and thorax. The narrow black band on the inner hindwings is also distinctive.

Thanks Logician.............I'm a little sad though. This morning, I went out on the deck and found 2 wings on the deck railing. They were about the size of the Viceroy's wings, but I need to compare it to a picture. Very unusual to find wings like this. What do you think happened? A bird? Nature is both beautiful and sad.

Monarchs taste bad to birds and Viceroys mimic them in color and pattern, but it does not always work!

I forgot about the mimicry and bad taste. If it did work though, to birds, who else eats butterflies who might not know that?
