Hi Houzz design gurus! I am looking for suggestions. I am working on jazzing up our foyer. We have installed Old Havana ceramic tile on the arch. We have the same tile at the opposite end of the house on a wall in our reading area - which can been sen from the foyer. We are also having a smaller arch covered with this same tile. My SIL was suggesting that we put a German smear on the foyer arch tiles. I love the smear look but am not sure it would be appropriate in this case. I have more questions about placement of furniture in the foyer area but will post that after the tile job is finished. Thank you in advance for all of your fabulous ideas!
