Hey all, I'm putting in a large patio area with some spots for a possible rock garden. Problem is, the weeds. The entire area is infested (about 1800 sq ft). There will be a lot of rock laid out and I'm concerned that fabric won't be enough to stop future growth. I'm thinking of mowing then tilling the area first, then either spraying vegetation killer, or laying down plastic since it'll be several weeks before the concrete is poured. I would like to plant bushes / trees around eventually (like next year).

Thoughts?
