Would you consider getting ones that don’t try to match, but rather contrast? I always feel like dining rooms are short on fabrics and can feel cold and echo-y as a result. So you might consider some upholstered chairs in a fabric that you love. I found upholstered chairs for my live edge dining table at Pier 1 of all places (talk about high low!!!). My house probably runs too traditional for your taste, so maybe these specific chairs might not be for you. But here’s a pic just to get the idea of upholstered and live edge together.

I think you need some texture from the chairs.

I did these for a client with a taupe leather uphostery and a custom live edge table with a base I designed. I wanted to see as much of the base as possible without a ton of legs.

Clearly you like natural wood. Perhaps solid wood chairs are what you should consider -- you can always add separate cushions in your favorite color(s).

I’m sorry for the late delay . Yes those are a great idea ! I looked at some with the veneer wood backs but tricky - dont want to compete with the table either . Good call and thanks for your input ! I hope I can find the chair in the second photo - I love it !
