Rick, all in containers exelent one that I just planted in ground.

I started my fig trees in fig tent that I made my self using frost protective material .

These way I was able to put my fig tree out April 15 + the spring here was very worm and night too cold, the nights was when the fig tent come handy.

Nice--how is the fig tent ventilated? What part of the country are you growing in?

It doesn't need ventilation is made out of fabric.
