My favourite foliage is Firecracker, but I prefer the more compact growth habit of Lime Zinger. I’ll post more pics when in bloom. :)

I really like the sunsparkler series of sedums. I recently bought a LIme Zinger and a Cherry Tart and I would like to add a Blue Elf and Firecracker. I planted them in my hellstrip along with some sedum angelina, sedum major and some ornamental grasses.

Here’s an update on my new sedums.

Dazzleberry: it looks darker now then it did in early July.

Firecracker:I planted two of these, and they’re both splaying. Too bad because the foliage is lovely.

Lime Zinger: still very compact. I’m liking it more and more.

Firecracker: this one ended up being my favourite. The foliage is great, but would benefit from a mulch that is not so dark. The flowers are lovely, and best of all, it hasn’t splayed, even the ones that were planted last year.

Dazzleberry: If it wasn’t for splaying, this one would be my favourite. Love the cherry red foliage throughout the season and the brilliant blooms. But look at how it splays, next to Firecracker. Disappointed.

Lime Zinger: I like it, but I’m not gonna run to the nursery to get more. It splays a bit, but not as bad as Dazzleberry:

Thank you for the update. love these sedums. I would probably try to cut back the dazzleberry and see if it stays in the nicer Mound. But not sure if that would work. Some of the Sedums just are used around here for just peeking out of under other plants. I ignore the splay because usually I don't see it very well. I do not have firecracker and will definitely be looking for that! Thank you fellow enabler. ;)

I love your Firecracker as well! My Cherry Tart is splaying a lot and my Lime Zinger is not even blooming yet. I really like the pink flowers on your plant. I will be looking for Firecracker to add to my garden next spring.

My favorite is "Matrona" - I like the hue of the foliage. I also loved "Pink Chablis", but I can't find it anywhere anymore; I have two very small clumps that I took with me when I moved, but they didn't do well the first season here and really declined; I hope I am able to root some cuttings of it or the clumps decided they have the will to live and spring back nicely next season.

@kathy is that your garden ? What’s the red flowers ?

I did some swaps for a bunch of sedums...so coming my way are sedum 'Sunsparkler series, Wildfire', sedum obtusifolium var.listoniai (sp?), s.album 'Coral Carpet', s. rubrotinctum, s.reflexum, s.'Silver Roses and a coupla delosperma (Red Mountain- and an orange). I split a load of sempervivums and jovibarbas, and potted them up, so I have the beginnings of a nice little hardy succulent selection.

My fame flowers, talinum phemeranthes and t.paniculatum are flowering, as well as a couple of calandrinas

Again, apols for my ongoing crapness re;pics. Everytime I thing I have it sorted, something else ambushes me (such as hiding in inaccessible files). Still trying tho'.
