Would you consider removing the shutters? Your house is very cute. In my opinion, the obviously non-functional shutters on the big windows are taking away from the house. I kind of like the white that you have now. Not clear what color your front door is, but it looks quite dark. What about repainting (or replacing) the door with a nice bright white as well?

No shutters. They are not right size and only two for three windows. Look weird.

I would make wider window frame, paint garage door and front door. Remove screen.

A very cute house! I'm no expert, but I would suggest a door color that draws your eye. And, if it were me, I would add landscaping sooner rather than later since I think that would make a real impact.

Agree with no shutters. Your windows are too wide for the right sized shutters to fit.

No shutters in this case. Use a wide, white trim around the windows...or something similar to celerygirl's example for the three windows. Paint garage door the same color as the siding with white trim around it. Replace garage door 'sunburst' windows with some that are rectangular.

You can always bring in color through landscaping too.

I agree with chloebud about those garage door sunburst windows. Those are easy to change out. It's just plastic inserts that you can remove without having to replace the windows.
