Very pretty Jane, is it growing outdoors or in?

Luv, it grows outdoors under the roof of my patio. I move it out in the open when it rains. It gets early East sun but just bright light the rest of the day. Seems to like it.

Thanks, Ben. Yes they do require more attention but I find in Florida less than you would expect. I've started growing more plants either mounted or bare root in baskets.The high humidity here seems to allow more time between watering. This Phal gets watered about once a week when I drag the hose in and water everything.

Now, during the rainy season, I run outside and move it out to get a good watering. I took the photo during one of those trips during a heavy thunderstorm. Good exercise!

Jane, rain is the best watering system we have in FLA, however be mindful that storms come and go quickly and the sun comes back out pretty fast and we know what sun can do to phales. I almost got caught with 10 phals getting roasted by the sun after an early evening storm... had to rush out and move them back in the shade...

You are so right, Ben. I put my Phals out from under the roof to catch the rain but always on the west side so I have time to move them back before the afternoon sun hits them.

Been there, done that, wow that sun is brutal!
