Curtain help please

Debating curtains on this window. Initially was considering two short rods flanking the window as I don’t intend to shut curtains often. But then I started to think it may crowd the cabinet on the right side. Do I go for one rod across the entire window or two short rods? Are those even on trend any more?
Or do I just go with wooden blinds as is on window next to it
Ps I am moving the toy bin asap lol
